Are you planning to organize a course or conference – or perhaps you want to celebrate a special event with your colleagues? You decide – we make it happen! We are extremely flexible. You decide what the agenda should include. Our job is to participate with enthusiasm and full attention. At Bardøla Fjelltun, you can have everything from small group rooms to a plenary hall with 200 seats.

Conference rooms

Bardøla Hall
The Bardøla Hall is used for large gatherings, whether for parties, courses, or trade fairs. The total area is 180 m². The Bardølasalen is particularly well suited as an exhibition space. Excellent daylight and good ventilation system. Wireless microphone system, lectern, and internet connection options. Options for a separate podium. The Bardølasalen is also an excellent venue for banquets and other parties. The hall also has a telecoil installed.
Capacity: 170 people.

The Halling Hall
The Halling Hall is furnished with lounge furniture and is well suited for social courses and gatherings. The hall is often used as a gathering place to watch major live sporting events. The Halling Hall can be combined with the National Park, which is located right next door.
Capacity: 60 people.

Geilo Peak
Geilotoppen is located on the third floor and has a total area of 48 m2. The room can be divided into two equal rooms, both with king-size tables.
Good daylight and a view of Geilotoppen, after which the room is named. The room has internet access, a projector, and a whiteboard.
Capacity: 20 people.

National Park
The National Park is a charming venue that is equally suited to small meetings and courses, as well as a lounge and dining area for social gatherings. The venue has been newly renovated, and we have decorated and named it in honor of the national park village of Geilo and the national park hotel Bardøla. Nasjonalparken is located on the second floor of the hotel and can be combined with Hallingsalen, which is located next door.
Capacity: 19 people.

Various group rooms
If you are a small group gathering at Bardøla to work intensively or if your course is divided into smaller groups, we can offer functional group rooms. The rooms are practical and flexible in use and are located on the third floor. The group rooms vary in size and can accommodate between 4 and 8 people. Group rooms 1 and 2 are very flexible and can accommodate 10–12 people around a king-size table. Group rooms 3 and 4 are directly connected to the Skarvesalen. Both group rooms can be used simultaneously, with space for 30 people in a classroom setup and 40 people in a cinema setup.

The director's residence
Our latest addition, the Director's Residence, is beautifully located right next to the hotel.
This is a beautiful, newly renovated cabin with a total area of 200 m². It has 6 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. The cabin can accommodate a total of 18 people. The executive residence is furnished with a beautiful kitchen, an oval dining room with a fireplace, and an atmospheric and beautiful living room with a fireplace on the second floor. In addition, you can enjoy a private sauna. The executive residence is ideal for management meetings.

Geilo offers countless activities
all year round.
Geilo offers activities for all ages and abilities, both in summer and winter. With the national park village of Geilo as your base, you have access to countless exciting activities in magnificent natural surroundings, in autumn, winter, spring, and summer!
High mountain experiences, either as a day trip or a longer stay. Geilo is a spring, summer, and fall destination that offers activities for everyone. How about horseback riding in the high mountains, cycling on mountain trails, or a breezy ride on a zipline?
The ski season lasts from around mid-November to the end of April. The ski slopes are located on both sides of the valley surrounding Geilo town center. The ski bus stops frequently right outside the entrance to Bardøla Fjelltun. There are opportunities for ski-in if you are coming from Havsdalen and après-ski.
