Hallingtunet
Welcome to authentic experiences in a historic setting!
In 1971, the hotel owners at the time fulfilled an old dream. A complete mountain farm from the 1700s was moved to Bardøla from farms in Hallingdal. Today, Hallingtunet consists of Gamlestugu, Storstugu, a barn, a stable, and a stately storehouse that originally came from the Anfinseth farm in Hovet. Today, Bardøla's guests can use Gamlestugu and Storstugu in Hallingtunet for parties and other events.
Large cabin
Storstugu is said to have stood on Sirsletta on the Skar farm in Hemsedal, and was known as 'Stølen'. When the house came to Bardøla in 1980, the building was renamed 'Langhuset'. This name was obviously chosen because of the long shape of the house. With authentic farmhouse fare and traditional food for cheerful stomachs and tallow candles on the tables, you can sing, chat, drink, and eat until the early hours of the morning.

Oldest cabin
Gamlestugu, as it was named when it arrived in Bardøla in the late 1960s, originally comes from the Sagen farm in Kvisla and was built in 1793. At most, four generations and up to 18 people have lived in this building – which was not unusual in the past. Here, everything is in place for a pleasant evening of celebration with a varied party menu. Torader or fiddle music, cheerful stories, local dances, or whatever entertainment you desire.
